About me

I’m an Essex-based artist, printmaker, illustrator and educator with a lifelong enthusiasm for drawing, making stuff and playful experimentation.

After studying Fine Art at Exeter College of Art and Design, I worked in model making - including for Aardman Animations - before eventually returning to Essex to teach art and design. I later completed an MA in Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art and now teach at Colchester Institute, where I encourage students to experiment, play and push ideas around until something interesting happens.

My own work spans printmaking, drawing, sculpture and Illustration.
